Rosal

Rosal.
I just found out that its "Gardenia" in English.
Its been sitting in my garden for 3 years now.

I'm patiently waiting for its flowers to bloom because of its sweet scent.

I'm also wanting to see to grow taller but I guess I have to add
more garden soil in my garden.

I will never get tired of taking care of my Rosal nor will I remove it
in my garden because I just read that it produces fruits too.  And it is also use to
perfume tea in China.

From Garden to Table

This is our home-made "Atchara"!
It is pickled papaya appetizer.

 Mom made it for us.

We harvested some papaya fruit from my garden.

When flowers started coming out, I never thought it will give me sooo
much fruits.

I was planning to cut it down but it is still giving me fruits,
so I regret to do so.

It is still growing taller and taller and bearing more fruits
and reward me with the tasty "Atchara"!

Chili Pepper

Chili Pepper, the easiest plant I've grown so far.  It has been sitting in my garden for quite some time now.  It doesn't require much taking care of and unmindfully it has produced so much fruit already.

Many of its fruits fell and was left to the ground.  I found out that it is a good source of Vitamins A, C and B-complex and flavonoids.  It also contain a good amount of minerals like potassium, manganese, iron, and magnesium. (see http://www.nutrition-and-you.com)

With these many chili peppers, I think I will sun-dried them so I can extend its usage...

Daisy

I started planting daisies in our garden last week.
I'm not a "green thumb" as they say, but still I wanted to try my luck with daisies.

Look at it now!

Not bad for a starter... ^_^

Next time, I will try my luck with roses ...
