Red Mug

I want to share with you
this red mug which is from my Corelle Set.

It's now my new favorite especially when drinking coffee in the morning.

I'm glad to have these red mug because I always see on TV this coffee advertisement which uses red cup as they drink their coffee.

Now, I have my own red mug!

Shopping Bag

Now that most shopping mall and grocery stores are using less and less plastic bags, reusable and washable shopping bags are  necessities especially for a mother like me.  I had to make sure I always carry one in my bag whenever I get out of the house, just in case.

Here are some of the shopping bags my sister gave me...

... comes in different sizes and designs!

These ones I can put in my bag for emergency purposes.

There are also some eco bags which I used in doing my groceries.  Grocery store owners in our area now encourages shoppers to bring our own bag.  That is to minimize the use of plastic bag and my own LITTLE way of saving mother earth...

Picnic Food Container

This picnic food container has been with us for quite some time now.  It has not been seldom used because we don't usually go to picnics.

We often do potlucks during family gatherings so this container is not enough.

During my sons' school's foundation day, I had the chance to use this.

I packed lunch for my kids: rice, fried chickens with gravy and some sauteed noodles or "pancit sotanghon".

But the kids are soooo excited with the school activities and hang around with their friends that they had taken their lunch when I came... Maybe some other time, we got to fully use this.

19th Foundation Day

Last weekend, my kids' school celebrated its 19th Foundation Day.  It was a 3-day affair.  It started with the   Holy Mass in thanksgiving and in honour of St. John Bosco (Jan. 31st is the his feast day).
The kids had a gooooood time!

There was a carnival with Perris Wheel

... inflatables

... and kiddie rides.

There are also bazaars where kids enjoy buying his fave toys.

Booths from each school levels also made the celebration a blast, especially the jail booth and marriage booth.  But what made it more enjoyable was that they were at school just to hang-out.

I can't help but remember the days when I was in High School.....
