Leisure Time Sunday

We attended an anticipated Sunday mass to watch and listen to the Loboc Children Choir of Bohol.  It is also a part of the week-long celebration of the feast of Saint John Bosco.

That leaves us a lot of time for Sunday...

We head on to the nearest mall to fulfill our promise to our "bunso" (youngest child).

On our way, we looked in awe with this wonderful site...

which stayed on until we reached our destination.

After we got the things they need for their school's foundation day, we finally got our "bunso" his much desired Beyblade Set.

He's soooo much pleased with it!

Then at dinner, we tried the Adobo Connection Restaurant since we all loved eating adobo.
(Adobo, a signature dish of the Philippines)

I ordered for this while my eldest son ordered for "Kuya's Fried Adobo", the two kids got "Adobo Flakes" and hubby tried the "Adobo sa Gata".  It was such a sumptuous dinner experience.  But asked the kids which kind of adobo they liked the most - its MY OWN adobo, of course! :-)

For dessert, we went to Dairy Queen.  I had "Cappuccino MooLatte", the kids got themselves the famous "Blizzard" served upside down, of course.  They ordered for "Mud-Pie" and "Oreo" flavor.

I'm so happy with our leisure time this Sunday.

Chili Pepper

Chili Pepper, the easiest plant I've grown so far.  It has been sitting in my garden for quite some time now.  It doesn't require much taking care of and unmindfully it has produced so much fruit already.

Many of its fruits fell and was left to the ground.  I found out that it is a good source of Vitamins A, C and B-complex and flavonoids.  It also contain a good amount of minerals like potassium, manganese, iron, and magnesium. (see http://www.nutrition-and-you.com)

With these many chili peppers, I think I will sun-dried them so I can extend its usage...

Ironing Day Thursday

Yes, that's right!  Thursday is my ironing day!

Ironing.  It is the last task I want to do among my weekly chores.  In preparation for this, I do the laundry on Tuesday and/or Wednesday.  I allotted two (2) days for washing because of the unpredictable weather.  The good thing is that I found someone who is willing to do the ironing for me every Thursdays.

She would hang them

or fold them nicely.

Using my 15-year old ironing board.

Thanks to my "iron-lady" I was able to survived my week with ease...

But my daily schedule needs some more ironing as there are things or chores still left undone.  (Like gardening, sorting out my pantry cabinet, etc.)

Magnum Ice Cream

My sons bought me this Magnum Ice Cream the other day when we went to the convenient store after school.  I told them to get what they wanted for snack and I'm glad they didn't forget to get me some.

After one bite, I thought of taking picture of it as fast as I could.

Before it melt,

Or before I finish eating... LOL!

See?  It's all gone!  Yummy!!!

Pack Lunch

Part of my early daily routine is to pack lunch for my youngest son.

He usually want his rice mixed with egg and furikake.

His favorite viand is chicken nuggets with cheese or bacon.
I try to make my own version of chicken nuggets when time permits it.

I'm also glad he likes my own "loose longganisa" which we call
"longganisang hubad" (naked longganisa). :-)

For his snack, there's cookies and chocolate milk.

And don't forget to let him bring some water, too.

Preparing breakfast for my 3 boys and bringing them to school completes my daily morning routine especially on school days.

My Grocery Day

At the start of the year, to have a schedule is one of the things I wanted. It's a schedule that will guide me in my daily routine, to slow down the traffic in my life as a mom to three boys and to the man-of-my-life. :-)

I choose to assign Monday as my grocery day. It's because everyone has gone to either work or school and some of the stocks have depleted over the weekend. It is also a nice breathing therapy after the weekend chaos.

So, from now on, I have something to look forward to every Monday. It's My Grocery Day!

Commit to the LORD whatever you do, and your plans will succeed.

Green Tea Latte

Since my sister knew that I like drinking coffee, she sent me this Green Tea Latte as as variation.

It is said that Green Tea contains polyphenols that acts as antioxidant which lower the risks of some diseases.

This one has milk in it so I think the benefits you get would be from green tea and milk. But if you want to maximize the health benefits of green tea, try the regular green tea.

Chocolates...

Yummy chocolates,
we received a plenty.

Wrapped in brown and gold,

Also in red and green.

In times when I got bored,

ate some of it
feared it might get wasted.

Now, my throat/tonsil is itchy
possibly a cough or a cold....
